Such a cute pattern! A coworker of mine asked me to make her a pair of purple penguins as a birthday gift for her boyfriend. I decided on this pattern, and they turned out so cute! Very simple and fast compared to most of the other patterns and projects I tend to make. It took me about 2 hours to trace, cut, assemble, and stuff both of these cuties. Thank you!
I haven’t seen a plushie since highschool (over 16 years now) but I wanted to make something special for my wife for her birthday. So I spent 2 weeks hand sewing this plushie and it turned out so good! Now, keep in mind I get easily confused and can often times misread instructions, but I did NOT have that problem with the instructions provided here. It was so easy and so simple, even I could easily understand it. I was nervous at first, but it turned out so, so good and my wife LOVED it. If you’re thinking of using this pattern but are concerned about how hard it will be, fear not!
My only issue was that I could not find the safety eyes suggested in the instructions, and ran out of time to buy them online, so I had to use buttons for the eyes and try my best lol. That’s why my eyes look a bit wonky.
Super cute pattern. Great instructions - a picture for each step! Worked on it with my 4-yr-old and it came out wonderfully. Would buy another pattern from this maker.
The pattern was very well described, I was able to follow step by step and I really enjoyed making the little penguin. There are some very useful tips that I followed and I couldn’t be happier with the result!
